Who We Are

We Believe In Kids Because That’s What They Need.

Every child needs someone who believes in them, someone they trust and gives them the confidence they need to become a responsible, capable young adult. At A.G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club, we don’t just entertain kids. We don’t just help them with homework. We believe in them, we respect them, and we challenge them. Ultimately, we help them grow strong, believe in themselves, and go bravely into the future.

Founded in 1966, we are affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a nationwide organization of nearly 5,500 clubs serving four million children and teens through Club membership and community outreach. At A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club, we specifically serve children from the Greater Birmingham metro area.

Guiding Children

In 2024, more than 1,700 children aged six to 18 came through our doors. We’re here to tutor, mentor and guide these children and youth so they can become productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We focus on health and wellness, character & leadership, education and workforce readiness, the arts, and sports & recreation.

Financials

As a non-profit organization, we believe we should be transparent with our community in everything we do. We believe you should know how your investment is performing. A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club is growing in a variety of ways.
